Syrskyi is out. Drapatyi is in. The General Staff faces an overhaul.

Tonight you will hear that Zelensky ‘caved.’ That the street now runs the war. That changing commanders mid-war is chaos.

I see the opposite — and I wrote it this morning: a leader who can be argued back into the right position by his own citizens is not weak. He is governed.

But don’t miss the deeper event. This was never about two men. It was a referendum on military doctrine — the Soviet inheritance of centralized command versus the war Ukraine actually proved it could win: software, iteration, initiative at the edge.

The old doctrine just lost its chief defender.

And look at who won. Drapatyi is the general who once offered his resignation because a Russian strike killed his recruits — he claimed responsibility for deaths he did not cause. In Moscow, generals collect medals for deaths they did cause.

That is the difference between the two armies. Tonight it became the difference between the two futures.

Fedorov’s return is still unresolved. The doctrine question no longer is.

Six days of protest. Zero broken windows. One corrected government.

Democracies argue. That is not their weakness. It is their weapons system.

Well, the ability to unite in a dark hour, take matters into our own hands, go out into the streets, and speak out against those in power has more than once saved our people when they stood on the brink of destruction.

Today, the fact that Ukraine remains a democracy despite everything has finally placed its best and most decent battlefield general, Mykhailo Drapatyi, at the head of its armed forces in this terrible war—a man supported almost unanimously by both the people and the army.

This is a great victory, one of the very many hard-won steps toward the light amid the darkness that have already been taken, with many more still ahead.

Today, the entire free world has something to celebrate.

Strangely enough, I don’t recall those who are now overcome with righteous indignation and throwing their hands up to the skies over the destruction of Russian “just warehouses of wild berries” near Moscow being nearly as emotional or outspoken when Russia, since 2022, has been regularly destroying Ukrainian Nova Poshta terminals and branches, Rozetka warehouses, as well as shopping malls and supermarkets in broad daylight while they were full of people.

Just yesterday, another Russian attack destroyed a publishing warehouse containing 250,000 Ukrainian books, and somehow I missed the cries of “that’s not a military target!” from those who suddenly become experts on the laws and customs of war when it is Moscow that is on the receiving end of a retaliatory strike.

"After learning through media reports of FIFA’s decision to lift the automatic suspension of player Balogun, the RBFA sent a letter to FIFA requesting a copy of the decision, an explanation of the process that had been followed, and setting out its position regarding the applicable regulations."

"As its only response, FIFA sent a letter to the RBFA stating that it considered this correspondence to constitute an appeal, that a judge had been appointed, and that the RBFA had only a few hours to complete that appeal. No information whatsoever was provided by FIFA."

"All of this occurred while FIFA simultaneously refused to respond to the RBFA’s legitimate requests."

"Furthermore, during the match coordination meeting, FIFA deliberately removed the section concerning the automatic suspension of players from its presentation. This topic had nonetheless been part of all such meetings before each of the previous four matches. The RBFA questioned FIFA, both orally and in writing, about the reasons for this change, yet once again received no response."

"To be clear, as of this moment, the RBFA has still not received any decision or any explanation from FIFA regarding this matter. It therefore has no alternative but to challenge the player's eligibility for the upcoming match."

"Regardless of the sporting outcome of this match, the RBFA is deeply saddened by the course of events and will continue to fight in the coming hours, days and months in defence of the fundamental principles of ethics, fair competition, and the interests of football as a whole."

To everyone celebrating the first flight on Qatar Force One today, understand what you are actually applauding.

A foreign government handed the sitting President of the United States a $400 million plane. American taxpayers then paid to retrofit it, with an estimated cost of at least another $400 million (some estimates far higher), for security and communications work in a Texas hangar since last September.

When Trump leaves office, the plane does not stay with the government. Ownership transfers to his presidential library foundation. In other words, he keeps it.

You are being asked to treat pure corruption as normal, to shrug at a President personally profiting from a foreign gift the taxpayers paid to upgrade.

In any other administration this would be the scandal that ends a presidency.

In fact, it’s quite frightening to even try to imagine what would be happening to Ukraine right now if we had not taken the path of continuing the development of the drone revolution.

If we had continued, as before, being forced to beg for months and years for the provision of every type of weapon and every missile, and remained hostage to endless professional “anti-escalation” advocates with their absurd and irrational restrictions on the use of weapons against Russia, as well as hostage to endless erratic demagogues and ultra-populists who would be ready to feed all of Europe to Putin just to get into power.

I don’t think Ukraine would still be able to hold out against such an uneven enemy, who was also absurdly protected for years from strikes against its military machine and economy “to prevent World War III,” if it were not for the drone revolution.

This is an immensely significant achievement of Ukraine and its allies.

Our warriors began Ukraine’s Constitution Day with great accuracy. Last night, our long-range sanctions reached two oil refineries in Russia. The Slavyansk oil refinery in the Krasnodar region was hit – about 300 kilometers from the frontline. We also reached a refinery in the Yaroslavl region, approximately 700 kilometers from our border.

We continue our operations that weaken Russia’s ability to wage this war. Each of our long-range sanctions means fewer resources serving Russia’s war machine, and another step toward peace. We will continue to respond to Russian terror. I thank our warriors for these results! I am grateful to everyone who helps us.
