This is my dog Dixie, who is a great example of a k strategist, species that breed occasionally and rely on their parents for care after birth. Dixie also fits the type 1 curve of the survivorship curves because dogs like her tend to live long lives!🐶 #apeseco @franklinlorax

We live in a temperate seasonal forest meaning the temperature fluctuates with the seasons. For example here in fall it was the start of cooler temperatures as leaves fell off the trees in contrast to summer where it is much cooler. @franklinlorax #apesecology
