Awesome day meeting my new colleagues at @GM4Women2028 and @HelenPankhurst great granddaughter of Emmeline Pankhurst, the inspirational suffragette next to her statue in Manchester. Super cool bumping into my Brummie photographer pal @jassansi who kindly took a few shots for us.
Less than one hour after tweeting a picture of this iconic statue in #Manchester, I bump into my old friend @HarpsKaur who introduces me to Helen Pankhurst, great grand daughter of the the suffragette Emily Pankhurst.
What an honour to meet her and have a picture with her.
Thank you Harpreet x
