A breezy but dry day on the beach at Tentsmuir today for our Higher Geography field trip. We collected lots of data on the abiotic factors that affect the vegetation for our assignments and were rewarded with some delicious crepes from the Salt & Pine afterwards! @harrisacdundee

It's the summer solstice today - the longest 'day' of the year!

Day length varies with latitude with the longest in the north

Lerwick's day length is 18hrs and 56mins and it doesn't go completely dark overnight!
