A year ago today I got released from playing pro ball. One of the weirdest times of my life going from being a phone call away from the Big Leagues to then wondering what you’re going to do with life. God always has a plan for you no matter what. As I transition into this Division 1 coaching role at CBU, I understand how important a coach can impact a players career/life. I’ve been apart some of the worst staffs that ruined my year, and some of the best where I didn’t want to go home after game 150 in AAA. Coaches matter, and they affected me more than I realized. I’m excited to learn about how to be a GREAT coach, especially from one of the best in the business @CBUbaseball @gadcock9. But for now, I know what it should look like. It doesn’t matter if you’re the top prospect or a guy who’s scratching and clawing his way to earn a spot, I’ve been both as a player and you WILL be developed.
