The setup for our #fashion show is well underway, all clothes modelled this afternoon are #upcycled from textile waste. If a group of teenagers can do it, anyone can say no to new clothes for 30 days. Will you say yes to #SecondHandSeptember with @OxfamFashion

A great write up that considers the importance of the #circulareconomy. Considering the increasing scarcity of resources, even #ClimateEmergency deniers should be able to see why a systematic shit if so neccissary. A circular economy provides benefits beyond the #environment

@cacti_sprout Completely agree, short term loss for long term gain, seems the most viable option when long term gain without making the change now is equal to nothing other than a lifeless planet. Then how do you make money?

@Climate_Action_ @Burberry Is this #greenwashing though, not that we should put down positive efforts but they also have a habit of being completely distructive to the planet. Small changes don't count at this time, #sustainability needs to consider every aspect of the #business to protect the planet.

@_ClothingLounge A good design is also about a circular approach, designing to #recycle and keep using our resources for the long term. But then good #design should also consider durability, choice of materials and so much more beyond the astetics.
