In 2023, the MN Legislature targeted a college where I was serving as Chief of Staff simply for exercising our First Amendment rights. It was significant government overreach.
So many representatives tried to help us—and another Christian college—but the DFL trifecta pushed it through, knowing full well that a legal case was coming and that they were going to lose. Special thanks to Speaker Lisa Demuth, Rep. Jim Nash, Rep. Ben Bakeberg, Sen. Jim Abeler, Sen. Karin Housley, and many others who stood up and fought alongside us.
There is a phrase in the legal world: “The process is the punishment.” Keith Ellison, Willie Jett, and their teams fully participated in that punishment, resulting in a $3.3 million bill to Minnesota taxpayers.
Is this the government you want?
The DFL could have saved MN taxpayers $3.3 million in attorney's fees just by not doing very predictably unconstitutional things, as warned by @ReneeKCarlson, @HarryNiska, and even me! @LisaDemuthMN and @RyanDWilsonMN won't throw away taxpayer dollars like the DFL does.
Minnesota taxpayers got stuck with a $3 million bill after Democrats tried to target two colleges, because of their faith, in a way that was struck down in federal court as unconstitutional.
I am aware of reports regarding a shooting in downtown Minneapolis. I am praying for the victims of this heinous crime, and I'm incredibly thankful for the massive response of our brave law enforcement officers.
Green line exten is obsolete before it opens -Blue Line Extension certainly a poor decision too, BUT we CAN change course before wasting $3.6 B for that 2nd boondoggle. Hennepin co peeps need to speak up to Henn Board.

Families and providers that are doing everything right are being punished and swept up into the tsunami of fraud created by the Walz-Klobuchar status quo.

As a new school year begins, Minnesota schools are facing crushing Democrat mandates and policies, with just 31% of 4th graders and 28% of 8th graders performing at grade level.
We’ll keep fighting for an education system that puts students first.

The @MinnesotaDFL 2023 Trifecta…unchecked power ramming through a far-left agenda with raising taxes, spending like drunken fools & unfunded mandates is why this headline exists today.

A Minnesota judge ruled unconstitutional the law pushed by Rep. Stephenson that diverted $6.2 million in Anoka County funds to the City of Anoka for a pedestrian bridge for a surf park.
House Speaker Lisa Demuth, R-Cold Spring, and House GOP Floor Leader Harry Niska, R-Ramsey, released the following statement on the one-year anniversary of the Annunciation tragedy.
"Today we mark one year since a community was shattered and innocent children's lives were cut short as they gathered to pray. We honor the lives taken that day, and all those affected by the loss and terror inflicted in the most evil way. Every child should be safe in school.
As we mark the anniversary of the Annunciation tragedy, we renew our commitment to addressing safety in our schools and the mental health crisis that leads to these horrific crimes. We need to ensure that every parent feels safe sending their child to school, and we will work with school officials and community leaders to make our schools as safe as they can possibly be.”
The rampant fraud that has gone unchecked by Walz and Democrats is now linked to sex trafficking in Minnesota. Suspects opened social service programs and billed Medicaid while under investigation. The people tied to the ring billed Medicaid about $4.8 million for these services.
MORE FRAUD: “Ghost students” are being used to steal identities, student loans, and financial aid.
Minnesotans deserve answers about how this fraud keeps slipping through the cracks.
