The PICTES DA Status
​Because PICTES computer teachers have not been brought under the 6th Punjab Pay Commission, your DA is calculated on an older baseline.
​The last official DA increase for PICTES employees occurred over a year ago, in January 2025, when the Finance Department approved a 33% hike, bringing the DA from 148% to 181%.
​The current March 2026 budget did not include any provisions to increase this 181% rate.
​2. State-Wide DA Freeze
​The lack of a DA hike is a massive, state-wide issue right now, not just limited to society employees.
​Regular Punjab government employees have been stuck at a 42% DA rate since October 2024.
​While central government employees are crossing the 60% mark this year, the state has continuously delayed DA revisions. Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema recently acknowledged the pending DA demands but cited severe fiscal constraints—mentioning the inherited burden of the 6th Pay Commission arrears

ਉਮੀਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ 14 OCT ਦੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਘਟੋ ���ੱਟ DA ਦੀ file ਜਰੂਰ ਮੰਜੂਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
