Thank you, Claude. I just replaced my editor with AI.
Wanted to get an animated video done on priority, but the editor said no bandwidth.

i’ve interviewed 50+ people for junior/mid-level content and marketing roles.
one pattern keeps showing up:
everyone wants to become a strategist too quickly.
people want to “move beyond execution” before they’ve written 100s of scripts, studied what worked, collected data, made mistakes, and built actual muscle memory.
but strategy isn’t the level after execution.
good strategy is what happens after you’ve executed enough times to recognise patterns almost instinctively.
if youre early in your career,
don’t rush out of the L0 work.
> write the 1000 scripts.
> make the 50 videos.
> do the research yourself.
> look at the numbers.
> repeat until you know why something works before someone has to explain it to you.
and if you manage juniors, make them do the reps.
be strict about fundamentals and boring work.
everyone wants to sit at the strategy table.
very few want to lay the bricks that make them useful there.
If you are in your 20s do not take up IC roles or remote roles.
Go and sit in the office all day.
Put your points in meetings, take feedbacks, defend your thinking.
Learn how diplomacy works.
@vatsal_sanghvi muscle memory and high agency
If they have achieved something or the other in the past doesn't matter if it's exactly related to the work but if they know how to learn and achieve plus they should have the intent to do that
Ofc very vanilla advice.Good Hiring is a big discussion
Being an influencer protects you from every market cycle.
Brand fucks up and wants to improve their image? They do an influencer campaign
Brand is doing good and wants to amplify something? They do an influencer campaign.
It's a cycle.
Ordered groceries on Swiggy today and got a fake hospital prescription with it. First thought was wow, hospitals are doing marketing now, nice. Turns out it is not a hospital at all. It is a startup called M, some kind of grocery concierge thing in Bangalore
It was a confusing rollout for sure, but I still found out who they were and what they do. Not sure if it was bad marketing or actually really smart lol
This would’ve been fine any other week but it dropped right when a hospital is already in the middle of its own PR mess online. The campaign was probably planned months ago - but maybe the rollout could’ve been paused or postponed?
