FG unveils africaโs first zinc-biofortified rice
The Federal Government has unveiled Africaโs first zinc-biofortified rice varieties, Faro 71 and Faro 72, at the National Cereals Research Institute in Badeggi.
The Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Security, Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi, led the unveiling, describing it as a significant milestone in advancing Nigeriaโs agricultural and nutritional goals.
