RIP Michael Feingold, a superb theater critic for 30 years at the Village Voice. He was always worth reading for his wit, insights and joy in everything from Aeschylus to Hello, Dolly. A wonderfully odd, erudite and invaluable New York treasure
@HarveyFierstein We have to be able to withstand people who fling hate speech. Otherwise where are you going to know the full extent of whatโs out there otherwise weโre no better than the people on truth social
Can't ignore the writing on the screen. Time to leave TWIT. Elon Musn't reinstated Marjorie Failure Green & Drump but banned Alex Jones - not because it was the right thing to do, but because he lost a child at birth. So, if his baby lived Jones would be OK? FB & Insta 4 me 4 now
Lauren Boebert claims the victims of the Colorado Springs shootings are "in her prayers." After she's voted against all LGBTQ civil rights, supported conversion therapy, and preached Christian bigotry against gay people. Her "prayers" are pure hate
The violent news from Colorado Springs is sickening and heartbreaking - the more so because there is a pattern.
We can not, will not, allow hate to win. We must end this in our time. No rest until all of us, including all of us in the LGBTQ+ community, can be, and feel, safe.
These strangers think they know how to raise a child better than that child's own parents! And then these same people want to ban history, science and literature from schools. Only a true moron is proud of what they don't know.
Iโd rather be writing about Jeopardy! But if this bill passes, trans children in Ohio will be denied gender affirming medical care, and that is terrifying. So please, if you want more Jeopardy content from me, ask your elected officials to just leave trans people alone
I love how gentle the words, "A look back..." sound when describing my memoir. I wish it was as easy to live! But not to worry, I hear it's an absolute pleasure to read or listen to so...

This morning, I Was Better Last Night crossed the reading rainbow bridge. We were together a only a few months, but our relationship was warm, entertaining and educational. They'll be missed. Love your books while you have them, you never know when they'll end. #HarveyFierstein
