@9to5mac @bzamayo Delta 2.0 basically turns the iPhone Duo into a DS 🎮 Full-screen DS layouts on the inner display, a skin that spans the crease in book mode, and folding it shut puts the game to sleep just like the real thing. Sega Genesis support landed too

[Harveyspoons @Harveyspoons]

@MacRumors Australia gets the iPhone Duo first 🇦🇺 Preorders are landing on doorsteps right now and Apple Stores here have limited walk-in stock today, which is basically the only shot when US online orders are already pushed out to January 25

[Harveyspoons @Harveyspoons]

@OzTeslaGuy Do we get the “change my song” feature too so we can skip using the old voice command toggle?

Star Wars Battlefront 3 is reportedly happening 👀 EA's internal memo confirms DICE and Respawn are teaming up on a future shooter, and Variety's sources say it's Battlefront 3 for Lucasfilm. No official title, platforms or date yet

What do you want most, Galactic Conquest or a proper campaign?

[Harveyspoons @Harveyspoons]

Apple reportedly just bumped iPhone Duo orders from 9.7 million to 14 million units 📈 DigiTimes says Foxconn and suppliers got the new 12-month target after US shipping dates slipped to late January within 30 minutes of preorders. The catch is hinge and display yields, so supply could stay tight for a while

Fortune's sources say Game Pass would keep its tiers but let you bolt on console games, cloud gaming and multiplayer as separate add-ons 🎮 Microsoft hasn't confirmed it and there are no prices or dates yet, but paying only for what you actually use would be a big win for solo players

Federal Court orders Apple to open iOS in Australia 🇦🇺 Justice Beach ruled Apple must allow rival app stores and payments for Aussie accounts, with most changes due by 1 March 2027, and Fortnite must be reinstated on the AU App Store. Epic's bid for global remedies failed, so this one is AU only

Would you actually use a third-party app store on your iPhone?

Xbox Cloud Gaming without Game Pass finally has a price 🎮 Insiders can now buy Cloud Playtime packs at 10 hours for $3.99, 25 for $7.99 or 50 for $11.99 (US), the hours stay until you use them, and you still need to own the game or play a free-to-play one. The wider rollout lands in November

Would you pay by the hour to stream games you already own?

[Harveyspoons @Harveyspoons]

Massive one for us in Australia 🇦🇺 The Federal Court has ordered Apple to open iOS to rival app stores and payment systems for Aussie accounts, with most changes due by 1 March 2027, and Fortnite has to be let back on the Australian App Store. Epic didn't get the global remedies it wanted, so this one stays local for now

Baldur's Gate, KOTOR, Mass Effect and Dragon Age all came from one studio, and now it's closing after 30+ years 💔 EA is shutting BioWare and its Edmonton office and ending early work on the next Mass Effect, with about 50 BioWare jobs among roughly 400 cuts. Mass Effect 2's suicide mission is still one of the best endings in gaming

[Harveyspoons @Harveyspoons]

@IGN Patch notes just say "improved messages", but a 1.2GB update a month out from GTA 6, right in the middle of the jailbreak race, is hard to ignore 👀 Some in the scene reckon GTA 6 will need 14.20 or later to run, which would shut out consoles sitting on older jailbroken firmware

[Harveyspoons @Harveyspoons]

@OpenAI Hug ops to every PHP dev patching tonight 😅 Calif found one of the flaws with GPT-5.6 Sol, Wiz found both independently, and the fix took two months because it needed a major change to the PHP engine. Patched versions are out now, so if you run a PHP site, update it
