🌲Grade 2 had an amazing day hiking, exploring the land, and discovering how plants and animals survive. Students learned that everything on Earth- plants, rocks, water, and animals- work together to support life! 🌎
Grade 1 had an awesome day exploring the Fish Hatchery and Chinook Lake! We enjoyed a hike & searched for plants & animals living in & around the water connected to our science learning. Thank you to our wonderful volunteers for helping make this learning experience possible!
Grade 3 students had an amazing day at Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump. This trip allowed students to make real-world connections to their Social and Science lessons. Thanks to our wonderful parent volunteers, we could not do it without you ❤️.

We had a great combined LAND & WILD day with HAS and ISS! 🌿Students enjoyed outdoor learning, games, hikes, nature art, and visits from Kumiszczo Excavating and local law enforcement. Thanks to our organizers, staff, volunteers, and amazing student explorers! ☀️🚜👮
This week, our mighty Early Learning explorers headed out on a Wonder Walk field trip full of adventure, curiosity, and discovery! From spotting tiny creatures to collecting treasures from nature, every moment was filled with wonder and learning. What a beautiful backyard!
Grade 1 students had an awesome day at Beauvais Lake Provincial Park! Students became park detectives, searching for clues to discover who was changing the lake, and explored the wetland area looking for animals that live there.
1B planted tree seedlings in designated areas in Flumerfelt Park. They followed Alberta Forestry’s guidelines for planting and students sent a wish to each seedling for continued growth.
We love watching our Grade 1 learners continue to learn and grow too!
