PTC is no longer PTC-ing. #22L has basically lost all its chances of formation & is no longer expected to form (or at least very unlikely since it’s at 10%). It’s just no longer able to form a well defined center & dry air continues to be an issue. #tropicswx

You know your storm is trash when the swirl north of #Yucatán has a better low-lvl circulation than PTC #22L. 22L is just a mass of clouds & convection that remains a trough. Shear & dry air continues to be uncooperative & formation chances are steadily decreasing. #tropicswx

#tropicswx #22L: So now as mentioned, TS Watches are up for #Jamaica, E #Cuba, #Haiti & SE #Bahamas & #TurksAndCaicos. It’s expected to become a TD soon, followed by a TS before landfall in 🇯🇲. It will soon get absorbed by a front on Sunday but not before dropping a lot of rain in some of these countries.
