The #25hJava were a blast! I can't put into words how blown away I was by the audience. Interacting with you was amazing and your many, many kind words were truly uplifting. Thank you for being there!

Woot -- honorable mention of #Layrry by @nipafx in his #25hJava stream! To the viewer asking the question about services coming and going: here's a demo for doing this with Layrry and JPMS layers. E.g. could use it to update a module. Blog post coming soon.

Made some really good progress with my little demo of a modularized #Vertx app, built with #Layrry and the @Java module system. Plug-ins can be added/removed at runtime, with the core app keeping running all the time (see push updates of routes list). https://t.co/ndQDp6pcjG

#25hJava - May 24th, 0400 UTC: 🐙 Let's go back to `var` for a moment. If you mix it with generics, lambdas, default methods, and some recklessness, you can get out some unexpected delicacies like intersection types and traits. How? I'll show you. More: https://t.co/8TDXFOEOnw

#25hJava - May 23rd, 2000 UTC: Some of Java's quirks appear anachronistic: default mutability/nullability, serialization, primitives, etc. But are they? And could it have been successful without them? @BrianGoetz will be here to discuss that. More: https://t.co/8TDXFOWpf4
