The #461Dean modular building opened in 2016, first residential tower in #AtlanticYards @pacificparkbk It's taken 6+ years to get a tenant, #justsalad, opening tomorrow Original developer Forest City sold building to Principal Global Investors

Finally: a tenant for the major retail space at #461Dean, at Flatbush: Just Salad. It's been 6 years. https://t.co/dqoLW2f2r4 Space next to #BarclaysCenter. Smaller retail space on Dean remains. Modular building built for #AtlanticYards Odd: emergency boiler truck still on Dean

Neither Brookfield (which bought Forest City) and Skanska would comment Note that Skanska is still pursuing claims against subcontractors. It was difficult *not* to notice that something was off w/ #461Dean construction, see this 2014 video https://t.co/mjAJWsnaoM

Perspective looking down from (apparently) #461Dean tower "Best in New York" signage @barclayscenter another painful irony. Vid: "Best in New York. Best where it matters."

Oy. Endless sirens. View from over the #BarclaysCenter, I assume from #461Dean (similar in my neighborhood, about 3 miles south)

@6sqft At #461Dean @pacificparkbk, a waitlist opens for not-so-cheap "affordable" units https://t.co/Sodh0EXLI5 But the value has improved #AtlanticYards #affordablehousing alternately should be called #incomelinkedhousing

Earlier map, supplied to #EB5 investors by leading "regional center," claimed B2 modular tower (aka #461Dean) would open by Dec 2014. Preposterous. #AtlanticYards developer, 2 months earlier, had already projected delays. Newer map said 2016. @peterelkind @kristoncapps @eliotwb

Though Greenland now runs @pacificparkbk JV, don't rule out multiple owners (start w/#461Dean) https://t.co/MsnR1Jh7Xk Questions pending re off-site #affordablehousing (Forest City's role) and the Community Benefits Agreement (where's the monitor?) https://t.co/Qhudok6Boe
