The #4m #70MHz #radioband was good for me today. Using a 5/8 wavelength omnidirectional vertical antenna placed on the roof of a 12-story house, I made a #QSO in #FM and #SSB with #England🇬🇧.I used a #YAESU #FT847 radio . #hamradio #VHF

The latest acquisition… A Motorola CM140 VHF Low Band FM transceiver. Programmed with 10 simplex channels, 25k steps. Excellent quality, very nice audio but gets warm on long overs/rag chews. #4m #70mhz #Ham
