In an article published by the Daily Mail (link in replies), an Australian pro-Palestine activist alleges she was raped by an Israeli soldier. Juliet Lamont was part of a Gaza flotilla which was intercepted by the IDF. She, along with several other flotilla members, claims to have been sexually assaulted, injected with unknown substances, and beaten to the point of sustaining broken bones. I'll point out something I have already mentioned in another post about this very subject. NOT A SINGLE Global Sumud Flotilla activist has publicly confirmed requesting or undergoing a dedicated rape kit or forensic sexual assault examination after their release. As for appearances, I cannot confirm when the picture below was taken, but it appears to have been taken at an airport, and I can only assume it was taken after Juliet (pictured left) was released by Israel and deported. She looks very happy, smiling and posing for a picture with the V for victory sign. Call me insensitive, and feel free to give me a lecture on how appearances can be deceiving, but to me this does not look like a picture of a woman who experienced rape just days earlier.
