Tumor Board Update The tumor board met yesterday and they didn’t feel like the combo immunotherapy had given Adam as robust of a response to justify continuing the opdivo for a year, which is the same as the keytruda that his tumors grew on. They’ve decided the best plan for him, because of how aggressive his disease has been, is to switch him to the targeted therapy as soon as possible which attacks the BRAF mutation that he has. This is 3 pills a day for probably 2 years, sort of like a chemo pill. This treatment is known as TAF/MEK. It’s a little scary knowing that we’ll have exhausted all the standard treatments but I’m happy they are being proactive to help Adam have the best shot possible at beating this terrible beast. Please Lord eradicate every cell of this disease from his body and don’t let it come back! 🙏 An update on Adam, he is doing so well!! Praise God! His brain fog has finally lifted and that has helped him feel so much better. His neck is so tight so he can’t turn his head at all which is frustrating but overall he’s doing great and I’m so thankful. Thank you Adam’s Army for your prayers!!! 🖤🙏🎗️💛

Adam had a good night and his nausea is better. He was able to eat breakfast, put on real clothes and walk around a little. Hopefully he’ll get discharged in a few hours 🙏. Very sore! I’m so proud of this guy, he never complains and is so tough! 💪💛🎗️🖤🙏 Thank you Adam’s Army!!
