This was one of the most important matches in Skye Blues AEW career, no doubt forever grateful for the Chicago faithful in her hometown for pushing her and helping making her dreams come true. Skye Blue vs Red Velvet on the 3rd September 2021 just a few days from All Out and only wrestled a few times for AEW had a match on AEW Dark and the crowd was electric for Skye. Huge credit where it is due to Red Velvet for playing her part in this in making it happen for her. The match went 5:34 minutes long and every time Skye was down or got an offensive in they cheered and every time Red was in control they boo her. Even though Red won the match in the end, the performance and reaction on the night prompted Tony Khan to come out after and offer Skye Blue a spot in the Casino Battle Royale at AEW All Out 2021 on the stage blowing her mind. On this day! Skye Blue vs Charlette Renegade on AEW Dark episode 157 on the 16th July 2022 with Robyn Renegade at ringside.
