Let me get this straight... OpenAl was founded as a nonprofit. Open source. For everyone. "To benefit humanity." Then he raised billions of dollars. Then he closed the source code. Then he converted to for-profit. Then he scraped the entire internet without asking anyone. Then he used YOUR writing YOUR art YOUR code to train his models. Now he's on stage saying you'll pay HIM to access intelligence. Just like a water meter. He stole all of your data. He built the product with your work. And now he's going to bill you to use it... Corporate greed has reached an all time high, and they're not even hiding it anymore...

#ECMWF und #ICON - Numerische Modelle im Vergleich mit ihrem KI-Zwilling. Während das ICON Deutschland bis zum Samstag fast trocken lässt, zeigt das #AICON den Osten etwas verregnet. Bei EZ fällt der Regen über Benelux und der Ostsee deutlich schwächer aus als im #AIFS. Sind KI-Modelle in der Mittelfrist wirklich besser? Am nächsten Samstag werden wir es wissen.

There are some new developments that we have implemented in recent months. The latest change is that the global #AICON from the #DWD is now available in @MetMaps. The following are also available: - #AIGFS, - snow depths in Sweden (since 1990) snow depths in the USA (since 01/2026) - additional models with snowfall data (since 12/2025) - maritime model data from GFS, ICON, and GFS (wave heights, swell, etc.) Improvements in handling: - bookmarks stored in @MetMaps can be named individually.
