Both have game key discs. Toss Xbox in, and it's around 300m total unit sales of consoles that use game key discs... before Switch 2 even launched. I could go into the counter argument that GKC is actually keeping physical around, but I am just here to correct factual misinformation based off your own claims, not to counter argue opinions. The fact you're trying to use GKC as some sort of representative of price controlling is very weird. GKC being at retail actually ensures retailers can lower prices too.
