What was most annoying was that they removed the equipments and ambulances from the public hospitals and kept them for use in their own private hospitals. Peter Obi caught them and ended it immediately, went there personally, exposed them and put the charade to an end, and they decided to go on strike. During the strike, nobody heard of any mass death in Anambra, nobody heard of any issues, because while they were on strike, hospitals were still functioning even much more better without corruption, with the same equipments they diverted. Some of these equipments were also equally given to mission hospitals that were functioning as well. Today two of those mission hospitals Peter Obi equipped are now Nigerian Teaching Hospitals today. The doctors who went on strike even came back on their own, apologised and the issues were resolved. These are some of the issues in our health sector, Peter Obi solved.
