They survived the floodwaters of Hurricane Helene — but didn’t survive the steep drop in tourism and economic strain that followed. A stark reminder: some businesses are still quietly struggling more than a year after the storm passed. To make it harder: Root Down, who had recently taken over kitchen ops there after losing their food truck at Salvage Station, will also be shutting down with the brewery’s closure. 💬 From Terra Nova Beer Co.: “Despite the incredible support we’ve received, it’s no longer sustainable...
