On August 15 we were at The Duke in 🇳🇱 and the round took 5h20 min (!). Just imagine that if we have room, we normally complete a round in 3 hours. Why do the very slowest players always end up playing in 4-balls instead of 2 or 3-balls ? #avoidslowplay

Het meest vervelende aspect bij een golfronde voor mij: “slow play” zouden de clubs veel strenger op moeten toezien! Goede stap in de richting: het erkennen, toegeven en kleine compensatie👍🏻 #enjoygolf #avoidslowplay

At my last visit to a golfclub (De Haenen in Holland) the slow play in front of us was dissapointing. But it was the first time ever I got an apologie in the clubhouse after the round and a consumption as compensation. Clubs should do that more often !

@secretclubprov Having it printed on the Local Rules that 2 Balls have priority and must be called through can help alleviate this - but then there's always those who say "they can't go anywhere" 🤦‍♂️#avoidslowplay
