Backward Classes Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BICCI) एक राष्ट्रीय स्तर का उद्योग एवं व्यापार संगठन है, जिसका उद्देश्य पिछड़े वर्गों (OBC), वंचित समुदायों तथा प्रथम पीढ़ी के उद्यमियों को सशक्त बनाना, संगठित करना एवं उन्हें मुख्यधारा की अर्थव्यवस्था से जोड़ना है।
BICCI एक सेतु (Bridge) के रूप में कार्य करता है, जो सरकार, उद्यमियों, वित्तीय संस्थानों एवं उद्योग जगत के बीच समन्वय स्थापित करता है, ताकि समावेशी एवं संतुलित आर्थिक विकास सुनिश्चित किया जा सके।
2. उद्देश्य (Objectives)
BICCI के प्रमुख उद्देश्य निम्नलिखित हैं:
• पिछड़े वर्गों के उद्यमियों को एक सशक्त एवं संगठित मंच प्रदान करना
• MSME (सूक्ष्म, लघु एवं मध्यम उद्योग) क्षेत्र का विकास करना
• स्वरोजगार एवं रोजगार सृजन को बढ़ावा देना
• उद्यमियों को वित्तीय संसाधनों एवं सरकारी योजनाओं से जोड़ना
