The last Blue Islands aircraft stored in Jersey is expected to depart today. Now registered as 2-ISLO, the ATR 72-500 is heading to Copenhagen, likely on return to lessor. Only G-ISLM and G-ISLP now remain stored in the Channel Islands, both in Guernsey.

Jersey Airport has announced that Loganair will operate Jersey ⇄ East Midlands. However, no flights have yet been loaded on their website. This route was previously daily for parts of the year with Blue Islands.

All future flights operated by Blue Islands have been cancelled
ITV are reporting that the government are working with an alternative operator (believed to be Loganair) to ensure Jersey has “reliable and sustainable air links for the long-term”. Good thing Loganair just opened their Southampton base then!
