There is a concerted effort by some in the media to constantly take my comments out of context. Yesterday, Gary Hardgrave gave me the opportunity to have a thorough discussion on a variety of topics which included the scourge of domestic violence. To Gary's credit, he aired the whole interview live on radio stations across Queensland. The whole interview was put on the 4BC website for everyone to hear, including journalists. But some within rival media decided to use only a few quotes and made out that I downplayed domestic violence. That's untrue, hence why it's important that people hear the whole interview. I understand that not all journalists share One Nation's political views. But as a journalist, you're there to report the facts and allow readers to make their own minds up on whether they do support One Nation policies and views. The demise of journalistic integrity is what's killing trust and revenue at many of these newspapers and free to air networks. Together with AI, this is why the Sydney Morning Herald and the Age have cut another 30 jobs over the last 24hrs. I'm growing less tolerant of many journalists within the MSM and so too are the public.
