Day 7: Lean on those who love us! Know who your people are, build that support system, and donโt be afraid to ask for help when needed. Remember that those closest to us would love to help. Itโs a win-win! 7/8

Day 4: Donโt be afraid to advocate for yourself. You know your body best! Try to be kind when doing so. It can be challenging when we're not feeling heard, not feeling well, and exhausted. I do believe that we get a lot more with honey than with lemon. 4/8
#CCAwarenessWeek
Day 3: Keep an eye on your mental health. Anxiety, depression, and medical post-traumatic stress are common when managing IBD. Seeking out an IBD mental health professional can be a huge help! 3/8
#CCAwarenessWeek
Day 1: Stay educatedโknowledge is power!
Day 2: Pick an IBD specialist that you trust. Be sure to cultivate a relationship with your healthcare team. IBD is a chronic illness, and open communication is important. 2/8 #CCAwarenessWeek
