This week we covered one of Murakami's most commercial traits - the Panda.
One interesting detail in #CloneX is that a Clone can actually have the VVS Panda Necklace, but it won't appear in the JPEG if it's hidden by certain clothing items.
For example, this Cowboy is wearing a Lime Gang Hoodie, which completely covers the necklace.
The same happens with a few other items, such as RNBW Flower PFA, which also hides the Panda from view.

Is Damien Hirst Still Relevant in NFT?
I don't think it's fair to compare him directly with Takashi Murakami and #CloneX, but it does make me wonder...
Why is one of the most influential contemporary artists seemingly irrelevant in Web3? Sure, some people may have never heard of #DamienHirst. But plenty of others know exactly who he is and about his Art.
Or is it something about Damien's own attitude toward "The Currency" that I missed?
Does anyone know what really happened and what's happening now with Hirst's legendary dots?

Panda x CloneX
In the previous post, we looked at the story behind Takashi Murakami's Panda. Fortunately, Sensei also left its mark on the #CloneX collection.
There are two Panda-related traits, but the most recognizable one is, of course, the VVS Panda necklace.
Only 250 Clones have this trait. As usual, even fewer are listed, just 6 at the moment, with a couple still available at reasonable prices.

As if Psychic Lazer wasn't enough this week, I figured I'd finish things off with one more on Sunday.
One thing I really love is when a #CloneX stays as faithful as possible to its reference. The more details that match the original, the better.
In this case, I think it's only missing Jellyfish Eyes and, if I may dream a little, Murakami DNA to make it the ultimate combo.
There are only 4 Clones with Psychic Lazer Mouth + Half-open Eyes. Add Murakami DNA to the mix, and there's just ONE.

What about the CloneX floor?
You probably know that I measure the #CloneX floor through Murakami Drip.
And there, fortunately or unfortunately, not much has changed. We're still have around 80 listed Clones, and the gap to 1 ETH keeps getting smaller. Only few are still listed below that psychological level, and there aren't many reasonably priced ones left above it.
A few more Clones were listed past week, which was honestly refreshing after looking at the same faces for so long. On the other hand, iconic Takashi traits are becoming harder to find at sensible prices. Some aren't even on the market anymore, regardless of price.
I'll let you make your own conclusions, as obvious as they may seem.

This week we went through the Gero Tan trait -- the Organism Mouth. On top of that, I also posted a Clone paired with the Dob Hat: 1 of only 7 existing across the entire #CloneX collection.
But of course, I saved the real beauty for our Sunday edition.
A Clone that will never be sold and can only be appreciated through manual discovery on OS.
That’s not a reason to be sad -- we should just enjoy the art of our genius Takashi and keep hunting for the grails still on the market.

Mr. DOB won’t let go
In the last post, we broke down what Gero Tan actually is.
Today, I want to show you how this trait was interpreted in #CloneX.
You’ve probably already guessed it -- it’s the Organism Mouth, or more precisely, Organism M78.8.
Only 158 Clones carry this trait. Pretty rare, wouldn’t you agree?
But if that still doesn’t feel unique enough for you (hello, tiara and hoodie lovers), paired with the Dob Hat there are only 7 (!) unique examples.
Prepare up your bids -- maybe someone gets lucky.
