With everything going on right now I just wanted to mention something that I believe to be the greatest thing that has ever happened on this platform.
During the pandemic, @GailSimone put on the most incredible #ComicsSchool and honestly I hope Gail hosts a part 2 someday ❤️
Now I enjoy it on occasion. We did #ComicsSchool and that was wildly successful, just throwing out access to what I and my friends had learned over the years to anyone who wanted to know.
It was fine. Happy to do it. It was fun, even.

Over the past weeks, I have been to events in three very different places, and there are STILL a ton of people whose dream it is to make comics, some of whom seem very talented.

...I want that to happen for everyone who has also had that dream. #ComicsSchool alumni or not, keep at it. It's a new year, there are more ways to get comics out there than ever (still challenging, but more accessible, too).

Just under two years ago, I was feeling down about the pandemic and realized a bunch of other comics readers did, too, and we came up with #ComicsSchool to talk about people making their first comic.
Thousands and thousands took part, and a TON made their first comic.
