🔥 PERFECT ATTENDANCE. AND HE ACTUALLY PUT THAT PRINCIPLE INTO A BILL. Credit where credit is due. House Majority Leader Rep. Sandro Marcos recorded perfect attendance during the First Regular Session of the 20th Congress. ZERO ABSENCES! And what makes this more interesting? Hindi lang pala siya basta pumapasok. Sandro is also the principal author of HB 7432 — the proposed “No Work, No Pay” policy for members of Congress. Simple lang ang principle: kung absent ka sa trabaho without a valid reason, dapat may corresponding deduction sa compensation mo. And Sandro is proposing a standard that he himself is already meeting. Kung batas na sana ang HB 7432 during the session, with his perfect attendance, wala siyang attendance-related deduction sa sweldo. That’s what makes this worth pointing out. Madaling gumawa ng rules para sa ibang tao. Madaling magsalita tungkol sa accountability. But it hits differently when you’re willing to live by the same standard you want written into law. Perfect attendance. No excuses. Practice what you propose. 👏 —————— 🔸SANDRO MARCOS’ LEGISLATIVE WORK — 20TH CONGRESS Fuel Tax Relief — ENACTED INTO LAW Travel Tax Abolition — PASSED HOUSE Anti-Political Dynasty — PASSED HOUSE Presidential Merit Scholarship — PASSED HOUSE Blue Economy — PASSED HOUSE KALINGA Act — PASSED HOUSE “No Work, No Pay” for Congress — PENDING IN COMMITTEE Mental Health Voucher System — PENDING IN COMMITTEE Individual Income Tax Restructuring — PENDING IN COMMITTEE Removal of Systems Loss as Separate Electricity Charge — PENDING IN COMMITTEE Behind-the-Meter Power Generation & Energy Storage — PENDING IN COMMITTEE
