#Nigeria must be on high alert. The stupid #Chadians have intervened negatively for years in Sudan, supported RSF, served as a logistics base for them, aided them in every way possible. Now, the RSF is losing badly, and #Chad is paying for staying on the wrong side of history.
This stupid country is about to unleash it's terrorists on the Sahel, the recently recalled the French Legion, whom I am confident won't be able to help them.
The summary of the matter is that we Nigerians must be on high alert too.

#Sudan denies striking inside #Chad, points to drone attacks from #Ethiopia
Sudan’s foreign ministry on Thursday rejected criticism attributing recent airstrikes in neighbouring Chad to its military without an independent investigation, while accusing the international community of ignoring cross-border drone attacks launched from Ethiopia.
The diplomatic pushback came after #Massad_Boulos, senior adviser to the #US president on #African affairs, condemned air attacks inside Chad that he said were carried out by the Sudanese military.
Chad’s armed forces said on Saturday that an air raid struck a vehicle convoy in its northeastern Ennedi-Est province, more than 100 kilometres (60 miles) from the Sudanese border. Chadian military spokesman General Alchanane Issakha Acheikh said available information indicated the strike was conducted by Sudanese aircraft or allied fighters.
Sudan’s foreign ministry said it was surprised by statements holding the armed forces responsible before a professional and independent inquiry could be conducted.
The ministry said Sudan respects Chad’s territorial integrity and added that the army acts strictly within its mandate to protect national security without targeting neighbouring territories.
Khartoum also questioned what it termed “international silence” over daily cross-border drone incursions from Ethiopia, saying the military intercepted a drone over the southeastern Blue Nile region on Thursday morning.
The army said the incident marked the third Ethiopian-origin drone downed in the Blue Nile area this week, following interceptions on Sunday and Monday.
The Sudanese government has repeatedly accused Chad and Ethiopia of facilitating logistical and military support for the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), allegations that both N’Djamena and Addis Ababa deny.
The foreign ministry reiterated its willingness to address regional security and border issues through direct dialogue with both neighbours.
The conflict between the Sudanese army and the RSF, which erupted in April 2023, has destabilized surrounding border zones and created a massive humanitarian emergency across the region.
