Today's task was to supercharge your fiction writing with @sudowrite and write / improve jokes with #ChatGPT and #Checklet
1) Fiction writing:
SudoWrite is a writing tool powered by AI designed to assist writers in various aspects of the writing process, including generating ideas, overcoming writer's block, improving passages, and more. It leverages advanced AI algorithms to provide suggestions, enhance text, and even create content based on input from the user, making it a versatile tool for authors, content creators, and anyone involved in writing.
The first steps in SudoWrite were super easy, and I quickly realized how the tool can help writers to generate ideas and improve passages. I am not sure how consistent SudoWrite is in writing and if it can use a knowledge base to represent the plot and characters in the intended way. Nevertheless, it seems powerful and if I ever write a fiction book, I will try SudoWrite as assistance.
2) Joke writing
I am not impressed with the results achieved by drafting jokes with ChatGPT and improving them in Checklet. From my perspective, it is super difficult to write good jokes for a given theme and to do this needs either a database of existing jokes, which ChatGPT is more or less, and the understanding what is essential for good jokes. As of today, it seems that LLMs are missing something to be good at writing jokes.
