#investing is a mix of contradictory qualities which when combined form superpowers:
A list I thought about and/or got inspiration from others:
- The confidence to act decisively, but the humility to know you could be wrong (#confidenthumility)
- The ability to not ''seek out'' excitement when boring sometimes brings the better risk adjusted returns (#boringbutlucrative)
- The Ability to resist pressure from others to go ''all in'', to remain solvent but still double down on your winners (#staysolvent)
- The flexibility to change your mind when wrong and the rigidness not to do so when you confident in your thesis (#Flexiconfident)
- The Patience to think long term, but the awareness to know the journey wont always be smooth. (#destinationnotthejourney)
- The conviction to concentrate your portfolio in your best ideas, and the common sense to still diversify your holdings (#convictified)
- Healthy scepticism, but not closed minded cynical disdain for everything that doesn't correlate with your world view (#Scepticalbutopenminded)
- A respect for historical lessons balanced by the knowledge that things can happen that have never occurred before (#Historyrhymesdoesntalwaysrepeat)
- The integrity to admit mistakes but the courage to risk making more of them. (#learnthehardway)
