Concluding tour in state of WI #cornbelt20. WI was a hit & miss a crop of 2 tails depending on planting date, no stress. #corn production ranked 9th, #soybean 12th. We rank state a 7.5 out of 10 with avg. yield potential. 2019 corn yield 166, soys 47. Thank You @genesisaglife
When comparing #cornbelt20 to #cornbelt19 in state of Wisconsin. 2019 had more moisture but similar variability depending on planting date. 2020 was further along with more tasseled corn acres. Thank You @genesisaglife @Ontag
When comparing #cornbelt20 to #cornbelt19 in state of Iowa. 2019 had more wet holes & standing water vs. 2020 which had more heat, pineapple corn, wind damage & 50% of corn crop was tasseled & further ahead despite early challenges & mid-May cold snap. Thank You @genesisaglife
