Our Gr.4 groups have created the lyrics for their Rhythm/Body Percussion (BP) project. Not only have the groups come up with words that match their note-values, but some of the words are quite funny also. Some of the groups have performed their rhythm/BP in class. #dhscbe
After sharing our digital plant books with the grade five classes last week, this afternoon Ss shared their books with our class. After viewing each others books, Ss had such kind things to say. They then added compliments to the 'Compli-Mats' of their classmates. #dhscbe

Gr.6s & 5B class continued to learn the basic ukulele playing skills, read ukulele chord charts & practice playing some chords. 5A class sang the song, "Scoo Be Doo", they moved with the song & played the main melody on their xylophones after practicing note-reading. #dhscbe

3B class listened to the beautiful song, Lemon Boy, by Cavetown. The kids sang along & played some instruments with the song. We talked about how we can be friendly with someone who is bitter or sour, and the person may become a sweeter person with some friendship & love. #dhscbe
This morning 3A class listened to the indigenous flute-playing of Walter MacDonald White Bear. They played a "mirror" dancing game using the music. It was very calming! #dhscbe
