I’m at #Dashtag’s school for a PTA board meeting this morning, except they’re also running a highest-level lockdown drill. So I’m getting to experience this from inside the school, just like the kids do.
It’s super interesting.
I was the only person who wore a mask at our first PTA meeting yesterday. I was so tempted to take off my mask to fit in.
But then I remembered that #Dashtag wears his mask in class all day, every day. And he’s the only kid in his class who does.
If he can do it, I can do it.

Anecdata from our house: #Dashtag was actually super hyper for like two days after his second shot because he was excited about things he’ll be able to do now that he’s fully vaccinated. Otherwise, no symptoms whatsoever.
Kids may have some side effects after getting their #COVID19 vaccine. These may include:
- Tiredness
- Headache
- Fever
- Pain where they got the shot
These are normal signs that their body is building protection and should go away in a few days.
