DUSD-Bonds (on Javsphere CryoVault) were paid off early today. This means that no interest will be earned anymore. Therefore, it is important to withdraw the DUSD from the Javsphere platform. Once it is back in the #DefiMetaChain - MetaMask account, there are two possible options:
1) Invest it in a good project on the DefiChain, such as $DTL #CFR #SYT or $JAV, or invest in @Octo_Defi NFTs, which will soon earn Octo-Token.
2) Transfer it back to the native #DefiChain and invest in dToken. Please note that the upcoming restart of the DUSD and dToken systems will temporarily "lock away" 90% of all tokens. Even if the restart is successful, this process will likely take years, meaning that a cash position like DUSD will inevitably lose purchasing power due to inflation. Therefore, it is sensible to buy #RWATokens, which have gained value over time and can be exchanged for DUSD when they are released again. If they are released, they can be exchanged for DUSDT (the trading pairs will remain the same). Note that all dTokens on the DefiChain will NOT be automatically converted to the new DUSD/dToken. You have about two weeks to make a decision!

Dazu muss man beachten, dass der kommende Restart des DUSD und dToken-Systems 90 Prozent aller Token auf unbestimmte Zeit "wegsperrt". Ist der Neustart erfolgreich, werden diese nach und nach wieder freigegeben. Selbst bei einem Erfolg wird dieser Prozeß vermutlich Jahre dauern, d.h. eine Cash-Position wie DUSD verliert durch die Inflation zwangsläufig an Kaufkraft. Daher ist es sinnvoll, statt dessen #RWATokens zu kaufen, die über die Jahre an Wert gewinnen. Wenn diese dann später wieder freigegeben werden sollten, können diese zurück in DUSD getauscht werden (die Handelspaare bleiben ja nach dem Neustart erhalten bzw. erscheinen in unveränderter Form). Alle dToken auf der Defimetachain werden NICHT automatisch in die neuen DUSD/dToken konvertiert. Es bleiben also knapp zwei Wochen um seine Entscheidung umzusetzen!

What to prepare?
its a restart on the dTokens, so get some $DUSD, get some dTokens (yes, there are less and different dTokens on changi), put them into LM, open vaults and mint tokens etc.
move some dTokens to the DMC.
Generally: do everything you are doing on mainnet + more, to get as much realworld testcases covered.
before the restart: remember your balances so you can compare them to the outcome afterwards.
after the restart:
check the remaining funds if everything is correct.
via fullnode you can also check your locked balances via cli.
LW users can drop me the address in the comments and I will reply with your locked funds to check.
Last important note: changi is alpha testing. There will likely be a rollback of the restart (to also test this behaviour in "real world" scenario), don't be alarmed. The more we test, the more stable it is.
