Lk 9:10-17 “…You give them something to eat…We have only…” Jesus gives the 12 instructions & they respond w/why they can’t based on what they have. Miracles occur at the intersection of our obedience & Jesus’ resources. Lord, I want to do what you ask w/o excuses. #devotime

Lk 7:1-10 “…say the word…a man under authority…I have not found such great faith…” Some see this verse & think the “believer’s authority.” Jesus acknowledged faith rather than authority. Authority implies power over, while faith is believing in another’s authority. #devotime

Mk 13:32-37 “No one knows that day or hour…only the Father…You do not know when that time will come…” It’s sad to watch believers work so hard to figure out what even Jesus doesn’t know. How many would meet Jesus if we worked as hard at reaching them? #devotime #evangelism

Mk 12:28-34 “…Love the Lord…Love your neighbor…no greater commandment than these…You R not far from the kingdom of God…” Being & becoming a Christian is anchored in loving God & people. Those 2 can be hard enough. We complicate things by adding stuff Jesus didn’t. #devotime

Lk 15:7-10 “...there will be more rejoicing in heaven over 1 sinner who repents than over 99 righteous persons who do not need to repent...there is rejoicing in presence of the angels of God over 1 sinner who repents.” Helping people get to heaven is a big deal. #devotime
