‼️BREAKING: A discharge petition to bring a Ukraine aid bill to the House floor has reportedly reached the 218 signatures needed. The final signature was added today by Rep. Kevin Kiley (R-CA-3) (@RepKiley ) on Wednesday, May 13.
The resolution (H. Res. 518) would allow consideration of H.R. 2913, which authorizes support for Ukraine.
H.R. 2913, the Ukraine Support Act of the 119th Congress (2025–2026), is a legislative proposal aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s defense, tightening sanctions against Russia, and securing the return of Ukrainian children abducted during the war. Introduced in April 2025, it authorizes up to $8 billion in loans for weapons procurement through FY2026.
A discharge petition is a House procedure that allows a majority of members (218) to bypass committee leadership and force a bill to the floor for a vote.
As with any bill, it must still pass both the House and Senate and be signed by the President before becoming law.

Mike Johnson’s #DoNothingCongress will certainly not allow any impeachment proceedings to proceed. We’ll ll be lucky if they can get it together to figure out how to pass a budget, as they can barely manage a continuing resolution.
Articles of Impeachment have been filed against Pete Hegseth for, among other things, war crimes.

Leader of the #DoNothingCongress has concepts of a plan. Unfortunately, these vague notions have little to do with the true drivers of increasing healthcare costs, which are healthcare company profits.
The so-called “Affordable Care Act” delivered exactly the opposite.
Democrats broke our healthcare system, Democrats crafted the bill that drove premiums through the roof, and Democrats created a COVID-era subsidy they themselves set to expire on December 31 – because they knew it was a boondoggle.
Democrats handed a ticking time bomb to the American people and it is REPUBLICANS who have ideas to bring healthcare costs down, restore sanity, and fix the Democrats’ mess.
