1/ I logged onto my #ABIM portal to pay my annual Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology #MOC dues. I let my internal medicine certification lapse intentionally in 2023. I am now being forced to pay MOC fees for 2024 because I did not submit the deactivation form. #CardioX

I did my ABIM MOC q this Christmas 30 q , 3 pre test q, 1 myeloma q- such a ridiculous q on diagnosis. 2 hrs wasted , rapid search of UpToDate. No knowledge gained rather lost and frustrated. Paid my money for this #endmoc

@VincentRK @InfoNbpas I took the 10 year recert exam Thursday after being booted from LKA by ABIM as I missed a couple of quarterly deadlines due to work pressures. At some point later I will write about the experience but am even more convinced none of this adds safety or value. We need to #EndMOC.

Endorse: Yes doctors don't need MOC and surveys It doesn't help patient care. In no way does it advance medicine nor outcomes of patients. The public and decision-makers, need to understand this. #EndMOC #EndBurnout #DoctorsVoice
