We won a European Advocacy Award from September’s #ewigconf. Meetup organiser @JDWasabi proudly holds the trophy but nothing to compare with some of the trophies from all over the world on display at @ustwogames
Ha Google made a video of my week in London. Cake, Hamilton, cake, hot chocolate, cake, walking to the fab #EWIGconf, cake and hot choc, oh and hair and OOTD.
Accurate.
This year #ewigconf was great. Lots of inspiring content and panel and people. Till next time! @wigj
In my talk at #ewigconf I explained why we use a fairy tale and a cursed protagonist to talk about a real life issue in our game. Today I saw this video by @jacknugent27 about a quite similar approach in movies, check it out: https://t.co/TPAY12pBGw
Looking back on #ewigconf makes me smile and I'm sure these wonderful memories will spend me strength to keep working on our stuff for a long time. If you're a woman in games and have the opportunity to participate in one of @wigj's events I really can only encourage you to do so
Last night at 12 AM I finally came home from the #ewigconf. I was completely exhausted, but I still couldn't sleep because my head was full of ideas, inspirations, joy, and beautiful memories. [Thread]
I met many amazing women at #ewigconf yesterday but I just wanted to give a special shoutout to @janamakesgames and @ChellaRamanan for providing the excellent talk that I live tweeted and has got my twitter blowing up with notifications. You're amazing! Thank you 💖
Thanks again for the great #ewigconf event, @wigj !
A much needed and deserved rest to you all now :)
Sat on a train home with @noleftsock after a great day at #ewigconf! Really great see all this amazing talent gracing the games industry and being GENERALLY AWESOME HUMANS YAY 🚺🤘🏼
Had a blast at my first WIG event - what a friendly and supportive bunch. Well done to the 6 student award winners including the 2 from Abertay. #ewigconf @AbertayUni
Congratulations to Christine for being one of the winner of @wigj's European Women in Games Hall of Fame! #wigjawards #WomenInGames #ewigconf
Interesting closing note by @ElisaItabe about the making of @AvaTheGame at the @wigj #ewigconf in London!
👏
Great to be on a panel hosted by @ChellaRamanan with @SamMGreer @ElleOsiliWood #ewigconf. Please let @uk_ie @ukiedenzel who is new to games press who he should be following and adding to his press list/twitters!
Just saw @ChellaRamanan at #ewigconf and now seeing her at the Video Games exhibition at the V&A (along with @tha_rami, @jawsew and others that I usually see here in my timeline ❤️). Really recommend checking this out if you’re in London.
Had an absolutely wonderful time presenting at the #ewigconf about how I approach diversity in game development

Fantastic talk by King Art Director @RianaMckeith about representing diversity in your games. #ewigconf #characterdesign
Games media can be exclusive, with @ChellaRamanan & @ElleOsiliWood being the only UK based PoC part of it. Being passed over for nepotism can be exhausting. Creating inclusive hiring practices is needed. #ewigconf
Ready for the second panel of the day ‘Impact In House: A Women’s Group In Your Studio?’ #ewigconf
