That time Christian Davis got an offer he couldn't refuse from the Rogue Detective 👊🏾'The Abandoned Napier Steel Works'...who spots a reference?… https://t.co/skXSGCZO6n
It's #Internationalginandtonicday! Yay! We're combining it with #FewFriday and having a Few American G+T.
As well as smelling a little sweet and citrusy, you get a proper creamy, vanilla-y, lemony hit on the palate. It's really refreshing, and reminds me of a genever!
5th and final round: rye @fewspirits @MaverickDrinks picked up apples & caramel & meadow flowers. In the palate I got popcorn and tart fruit and woody notes on the finish, Apple tart on the notes. To conclude, the single malt was the winner for me. Love you @Damo61666 #fewfriday
Also to accompany the final rounds of my foray into tasting for @fewspirits we listened to The Jesus Lizard-Down. Music/drinking pairing is very important to me. #fewfriday has been great, loved the bourbon 👍
Final round, Rye Whisky, a bit too rich my taste buds, think all the hair fell out of my chest now and I kind of just want to drink the bourbon. Hats off to @TheGinfluence for doing this sort of thing regularly, I'll stick to drinking recreationally. #fewfriday #fewspirits
Doesn't Fall Far
1.5 oz FEW Bourbon
¼ oz Fresh Lime Juice
¼ oz Simple Syrup
Ginger Beer
👌🏼

Round 4: Bourbon. @fewspirits @MaverickDrinks This is a lovely natural bourbon. Sweet caramel and cherry on the nose, I got wooden and chocolate on the palate though the notes say toffee and cardamom, citrus a d warm notes on the end.

Definitely my favourite so far, bourbons are my bag! Think my chest is a bit hairier now, great stuff! Also I haven't listened to this Steve Ignorant album in ages it is also great stuff!! @TheGinfluence @fewspirits @MaverickDrinks #fewfriday #fewspirits #bourbon #whisky
Round 3.Barrel(aged)gin,good stuff! fruity/zesty something for a winter night in doors by the fire. Soundtrack is now Steve Ignorant's a slice of life-Love and a lamp-post. @TheGinfluence @fewspirits @MaverickDrinks #fewspirits #fewfriday #SteveIgnorant #sliceoflife
Round 3: Barrel gin. I found a lovely sweet nose, with a spicy palate and vanilla finish. Finish on the tasting card shows gingerbread with a berry tail which is so true going back to it. Think @Damo61666 did better on me on that round.
#fewfriday #barrelaged #boydidgood
Round 2: @fewspirits @MaverickDrinks American gin. Loud gin with the sweetness of vanilla, citrus. I picked up candy floss notes. Also picked up on the clean finish @Damo61666 kept getting mint which must be the freshness

I am no professional and should know better by now what with having fallen for @TheGinfluence some time ago but that was some great Gin! 9/10 would drink again. @fewspirits @MaverickDrinks #fewspirits #fewfriday #goodshit
Ahhh, well this is a rather scrummy combo. @FentimansLtd Ginger Ale teamed with @fewspirits Barrel Gin. Warming and homely, with a gorgeous gingerbread finish...perfectly autumnal #FEWFriday #gin #weekendfun
Round 1: @fewspirits @MaverickDrinks hit that Apple flavour on the head, the caramel on the nose. Really lovely, fruity, unusual single malt.
@Damo61666 is sharing his seperately.

Just started on some whiskey tasting with the Mrs, single malt not to my usual tastes but this is good stuff. Nick Cave-Kicking against the pricks perfect soundtrack. @fewspirits @MaverickDrinks @TheGinfluence #whisky #fewspirits #fewfriday #NickCave

The fellas home and I'm teaching him to taste.
Look at that gorgeous mug @Damo61666
We're sat at the table listening to @nickcave And we're writing notes. We'll read the tasting notes once we've written ours to see how they compare.
