Religion of Artists like Lata Didi and Dilip Kumar - #Vishwas_Patil I had been appointed as the Joint #Managing_Director of the grand #Film_City in #Goregaon, #Mumbai. I was just 29 back then. That was when I was introduced to #Lata_Didi for the first time. I spent nearly three to three and a half years of my youth with #Dilip_Kumar. I have elaborated about it in my article, "Divas Dilip Kumar yanchya sahavasatle." (My days with Dilip Kumar) Art lovers must definitely read my #article from the 2022 diwali edition of '#Deepavali'. 45 years ago, the singing concert of Lata didi was held at #Albert_Hall in London. This reminds me of the very celebrated speech of Dilip Kumar appreciating Lata didi. Both excelled in the fields of singing and acting, reaching unparalleled heights. Both had tremendous mutual respect and faith. I can still remember the incident which Dilip Sir had narrated to me. Dilip Sir and Lata Didi, both were shining bright like the sun in their respective artistic journeys in the 1960s. Dilip Sir was so deeply impressed by the voice of Lata didi that he would always tell her that "I would love to spend hours listening to your recording instead of my shoot." Lata Didi also quite liked the natural acting of Dilip Sir. In 1962, Dilip Sir's film "#Ganga_Jamuna" was released. Dilip Sir had portrayed the character of a North #Indian countryside stubborn young man. The song 'Nain lad gayi hai toh manvama kasak hoi bekari' of this #film became extremely popular. Lata Didi told Dilip Sir that "I want to leave my recording studio for a few days and visit the set of your film. I want to see your lively acting." Then Dilip Sir said, "My wish to listen to your divine voice in the recording room is still incomplete." Then both of them decided to get a lively experience of singing and #acting by visiting each other's work places. However both were extremely busy #artists and therefore could not do so. After a few years they both reunited. And then they both laughed their hearts out by remembering their incomplete wishes. Lata Didi expressed her apology. At that time Dilip Sir said, "Lata, we are true artists. We have to religiously worship our arts.
