This example: hold water in a collapsing tower so it only dumps where it should.
Many bricks, many gaps. Expand Geometry in the obstacle settings closes them for the sim.
SFX + music round it out. How does this land for you?

We're developing UVW βοΈ so you can control when a texture locks onto fluid particles.
Until frame 250 it's chaos β then it snaps β
Upcoming updates β pick that frame after the sim, in post.

FLIP Fluids dev preview in Blender: this time we applied the new UVW texture workflow to the fluid_surface, not particles. π§ Using Superhive Spring Sale media as the texture, it deforms with the fluid motion. βοΈπ #blender #b3d #flipfluids #flipfluidsaddon #3danimation
FLIP Fluids development preview in Blender: a new UVW attribute makes stable textures possible on calm particle surfaces. π§ The texture can move with the particles and deform with their motion. WIP! βοΈπ #blender #b3d #flipfluids #flipfluidsaddon #simulations #3danimation
Water simulation test 1.1.
Inspired by the goat @Gojishura47 I eventually want to get up to large scale water simulations for Project Ashfall and future projects involving water physics and the King himself, #Godzilla π
