DataVex Hosting was created with one clear goal: to support and strengthen Flux decentralisation. We are a new hosting brand in the Flux community, but we are not new to $Flux. We’ve been holding FLUX and running #Fluxnodes since the end of 2021. During this time, we’ve built strong knowledge about Flux, Flux nodes, and how the ecosystem is evolving. We follow Flux development closely and are genuinely impressed with the work the Flux team is doing. Who we are We operate a small independent datacenter in Poland, running for the last 6 years. We started by providing compute resources for small and medium businesses, and we also run our own Flux nodes there. Over time, as we watched Flux grow, we decided to create a dedicated Flux-focused hosting platform as an extension of our company. Our goal is simple: Provide reliable, high-performance, and as decentralised as possible infrastructure for Flux nodes. We are already working on opening more small datacenters in central and eastern Poland to spread our infrastructure geographically and increase decentralisation across the Flux network. Our infrastructure We use servers powered by modern AMD Ryzen processors and fast NVMe storage in RAID1. This setup is designed for strong performance, high stability, and enough headroom for Flux nodes, even under higher load. All nodes run on #ArcaneOS . Networking & IP policy All nodes on our platform have their own unique IP address. We do not use UPnP. Why unique IPs? To make sure there are plenty of unique IPs available on FluxCloud for dApps. To ensure that each node hosted with us can run dApps that require a unique IP, improving its chances to host more applications. To avoid situations where multiple nodes share a single IP and only one of them can host a specific dApp. This approach is designed to help dApp hosting and improve NPR rewards for nodes hosted with DataVex. Looking ahead: #FluxCloud We are closely following all development around FluxCloud. Our long-term plan is to gradually move our customers’ websites, databases, and other services to FluxCloud as the ecosystem matures. We believe the Flux network offers more stability and a stronger long-term foundation than traditional centralised hosting. We are already exploring this path for our own infrastructure and planning our migration to FluxCloud when it becomes the best option technically. Transparency & pricing We’re not here to compare ourselves to anyone else. Some people will like our platform, some may not – and that’s perfectly fine. We’re still working on final hosting prices because we also have real infrastructure costs and bills to pay. However, we guarantee that once our new prices are announced: They will not be increased for at least the first 6 months.
