Our #FourthPlinth Schools Awards are back🥳
We’re encouraging primary and secondary school students aged between five to 15 to get creative and produce some artwork inspired by Mil Veces un Instante (A thousand times an Instant) or other works showcased on the plinth in Trafalgar Square.
Artwork is accepted in all forms, there’s no limit to the number of submissions from each school, and group and individual entries welcome!
Enter now! The deadline for entries is Sunday 22 March 2026.

Teresa Margolles’s Mil Veces un Instante (A Thousand Times in an Instant) on the #FourthPlinth is an act of remembrance and resistance.
The work is made up of plaster casts of the faces of hundreds of trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming people and was created in memory of Karla La Borrada, a Mexican trans singer who was murdered in 2015.

Last week, we erected #scaffolding in #TrafalgarSquare to allow for the changeover in artwork on the #fourthplinth.
The previous exhibit, 'Antelope', was removed, to make way for '850 Improntas', which will sit on the plinth for the next two years.
