Tomorrow London will be seeing an unprecedented ‘Farmers Protest’. It is expected to be attended by 40,000 people. The protest is against the Labour’s announced changes to inheritance tax (IHT) which will change how agricultural assets are taxed. Country Land and Business Association estimates that nearly 70,000 farms that will be affected. The new measure will mean “damaging family businesses and destabilising food security”.
