All young aspiring girls basketball parents, there will be decisions before your daughters and you as parents. One of the best decisions I made as one of you was putting my daughter will FINEST. Don't Rush HER process, Trust THEIRS. #FinestFam
18 years ago San Antonio’s Finest started with 5th/6th grade girls.
We added boys and 3rd/4th grade girls one year later.
The longest tenured players were the daughters of the founders, Desiree Caldwell (USC) and Vanessa Oyola (TAMIU).
That is no longer the case.
Yesterday, our 2026’s played their last game in Finest uniforms and a few became the most tenured Finest players in our history.
Bella, Laney, Beya, Jordan, Kenzie all have been Finest since 2nd/3rd grade.
Jera and Janea since middle school.
Yaz, Aniyah, Nat, Bri, Ava and Sarah ALL have played Finest multiple years.
11/13 have college opportunities already, ALL will have the chance to become the 3% to play college basketball.
Some will sign in the fall.
The others in the spring.
ALL will be successful LEADERS in life!
The loyalty they exhibited is a testament to their outstanding parents.
All of our classes are special.
